Below is a interview prior to the launch of the Spiritual Boss Global platform conducted by the minds behind the scenes of this spiritual movement & a history which shaped the philosophy.

An Inside Look: A Conversation with Master Jay

This interview is conducted between Master Jay’s closest confidant, Ms. D, and is recorded and transcribed by his personal assistant, code-named Cortana. It takes place between the two of them, with occasional observations and interjections from Cortana. The purpose of this interview is to provide insight into the character of Master Jay and his goals for the global members of Spiritual Boss.

Lady D: "Hello, my dear Jay. Are you ready to do your interview? Are you ready to speak your truth unto the people who need to hear it? As this will be very important as an introduction to your new members and future colleagues."

Master Jay: "Yes, of course. I'm very excited for Spiritual Boss. This is something that I think truly the world needs. And I do it because I truly believe in it and that I was born for it."

Lady D: "So as you promised you will need to answer everything here very honestly and bring the raw and unfiltered truth. Can you agree to that before we begin? As I know there are many things that you have come to understand in this world and I wish for you to share it as I believe you have true power and talent that can come and shine now."

Master Jay: "Yes, of course. I will answer everything honestly, unless I feel that it breaches a barrier or a boundary for those who are new. Ms. D is definitely my closest confidant and knows more about me than I may know about myself, so she is perfect to conduct this interview to help us get to know each other. To start off, let us say, my name is Master Jay. I'm a Vietnamese-American Shaman. Currently, I live in Da Nang, Vietnam. I've lived in Vietnam for the past two years, almost three now. I love the Vietnamese culture as a Vietnamese-American, and I feel very comfortable and at home here. My bloodline is that of shamanic blood, meaning I have a natural connection to the spiritual realm. My spiritual Journey began when I was 20, when I came into contact with a man named Dr.BOA On YouTube during my tough times as a student. I had a HUGE spiritual awakening when I was around 24, which gave me a almost midlife crisis in which I decided to quit my job and since then I've been studying many core concepts of the universe. It is a miracle that I was able to make it to the other side of a successful life with absolutely no plan other than trusting God & holding onto my vision of freedom.

Cortana's Observation: [Tone Shift] Jay's voice carries a grounded authority here; he is moving past formalities and into the identity that defines his mission.

Lady D: "Before you continue speaking a little bit more about yourself, can you go into the background of your spiritual awakening? And can you also explain more on what a shaman is in layman's terms?"

Master Jay: "Yes, and when I had my spiritual awakening and tapped into my gift of the path of a shaman, I had no real true understanding of spirituality. So it was like overnight my life changed. I came from being a guy who wanted to live a different life after being stuck in a job to the point where all of a sudden I was an authority, and people were coming to my home and seeking guidance and seeking help.

A shaman is a very, very important person in Vietnamese and indigenous cultures. Inherently, a shaman is one that is chosen by the universe to carry out a mission. Many—everybody who comes across me and works with me—they are likely to come out for a very specific reason that only I may be able to help them with.

In a simple way, I would explain that a shaman is very similar to a neurosurgeon, but we work on not the brain, the physical brain, but we work on the spiritual brain. And that is what I have come to understand. It is also something that naturally matches my personality very much."

Cortana's Observation: [Tone Shift] The "spiritual neurosurgeon" analogy lands with sharp clarity; his tone is now precise, calculated, and deeply informative.

Lady D: "That is great. I would like to mention that I do believe you are quite talented at your work and have built quite a reputation for yourself in your community and globally, and I do believe your next project will really impact people globally. As I know in the past you have had negative experiences doing this work. I'm encouraging you to continue this and give your best. What are your opinions on the state of the modern world? As a shaman and as a spiritual worker, what do you think of the current state of the world? And why do you do what you do now with Spiritual Boss Global?"

Master Jay: "In the work that I'm doing and what I'm revealing in Spiritual Boss Global are things that I've known for a very long time. But as in the past, I've had negative experiences in working the spiritual field and being shamed by my family. I think that left a deep wound of expression on me that I have just recently gotten over. And when I got over these things, I found that Spiritual Boss Global, sharing this love of knowledge, is something that I truly feel called to.

It is about something more than connecting people; it is to me truly about empowering leaders across the world. Uniting what I call 'Spiritual Bosses' across the world and allowing them to step into the forefront—people with dreams, people with ambitions, people with a spiritual gift or a calling that they don't know how to bring up to the forefront. I would love to be able to be a part of their life and to bring them into power, because deep in my core, the world is in a very interesting state in which we need true leadership.

Whether male or female, the world always needs more leaders. The world always needs more bosses; the world always needs more people with right characters who stand for what is right, who are strong, upright, and moral. And that is what I am doing with Spiritual Boss Global—it is something deep within my soul that I want to bring. This level of people and unite them into existence so they can have a positive impact on this world.

My opinion on the current state of the world is we are in a massive shift. We're in a huge shift, and anybody that comes across this reading, comes across this interview, they are likely part of that shift. And I would like them to come into contact with me or other like-minded individuals or people that are on their soul path and journey. So Spiritual Boss Global is exactly made for that: it is to help the world unite the people who feel that it is time to step up to the plate and be leaders of what we call the 'New Earth' or the 'Spiritual Revolution'."

Cortana's Observation: [Tone Shift] The raw emotion here is palpable. The shift from personal pain to a global call-to-action shows a transition from the 'wounded' self to the 'empowered' leader.

Lady D: "As I have been with you these past 7 years and observed your change and your growth, I would like to ask you: What do you do when you work with others, and how do you do it? What do you think the benefit of this is? How do you want to serve people, and how do you serve them? Let's talk about you a little bit. This is your platform that you're making, so you should have no shame in truly expressing yourself."

Master Jay: "Ultimately, I would say, and I would explain this in a humble way, my work is programming. Whereas a computer technician can program a software, my life has led me in my background being in the medical field, being a personal trainer, being a person who studies traditional Chinese medicine, and has a natural understanding of the spiritual bodies coming from a shamanic bloodline, I'm a programmer of the human mind. My goal is to program, or upgrade the software, or remove any viruses in the current minds of the people that I work with, and to give them a tune-up. There are many ways to do this; that's why they call me, Master Jay.

If I could tell you what I do, obviously, if I told you how good I am, you’d say I'm bragging; if I tell you that I'm not that good, you would say that I am lying; and if I'm being humble, when you observe me, you would know something else—that's the best way I can say this.

Ultimately, that is how I would want to serve people; when they join Spiritual Boss Global, what they are receiving is something very special. They're receiving the mind of a millennial who is also a shaman, who quit his job years ago, and many years later, due to a natural understanding and guiding of the universe, moved across the world and built his own spiritual healing empire and global network with no roadmap.

So, if anybody wanted to do anything similar to that or just have some companions along the way, I'm here to help them with their similar path of expansion of consciousness and growing, healing, loving, releasing, forgiving, letting go of the negativity in the past, and stepping into the greatness of the present moment and the future—the seed of their future, their destiny that already exists within them. That is my wish for the people; Master Jay is an idea, but Spiritual Boss Global is a community, a network, a movement—something very large and very big that will grow beyond my time and everyone else in the present moment."

Lady D: "As you said something quite interesting, which I have never heard you put into layman's terms before: you are similar to a spiritual surgeon. Would this be similar to somebody who is in psychology, or where do you think that line blurs?"

Master Jay: "I would say some of it has to do with human psychology and natural human understanding, but some of it also has to do with understanding how trauma affects the mind and how to revert that flow of trauma if it exists in the body. Right? So, you want to think of all human beings as existing in a perfect slate or state, a blank canvas, but due to the upbringing of human beings and the state of the world—right? Evil programming, unconscious family trauma, whatever—we all deal with unscrupulous things in this dimension. There are doctors to work on the foot; there are doctors to work on the spine; and in many tribes that are still connected to their roots, there are spiritual doctors who work on the mind. I am confident to say that the power of the human mind is infinite, and when one can tune it or align it to the right direction, nearly anything is possible.

Now, there are always physical limitations, right? Like Michael Jordan was born as a gifted athlete, but he cultivated his skill; he cultivated his ability through talent, effort, hard work, and being coachable. Most of us aren't going to be Michael Jordan because we aren't born with that physical specimen of a body, right? But cultivating that mind and maximizing one's energetic flow of the mind—that is something that I truly believe isn't something we were just born with. There may be certain things that are given to us—temperaments, astrology, physical expression—but for people that can harness their mind and maximize their expression, I believe it's any human, because I've studied the mind, I've worked with the mind, and I've seen people change.

The mind is so powerful that changing your belief systems will change your life; it will change your income, your love, your state of happiness, and your health. And the mind is also so powerful that if someone's belief system is broken, they may go insane or crazy. For example, I've seen videos on the internet of a mother finding out her son is a serial killer, and the woman's belief in her son is so strong that she will not believe it; regardless of how guilty he is, her mind will not allow her to believe it because that is her son, her baby boy, and if she were to believe it, it may break something in her nature and she may go insane.

The mind is so strong; the belief system is so strong; how one views himself is so strong. And the sad thing is, the way many of us view ourselves is not the way that we should, because many times we cannot see ourselves due to the past programming that other people put on us. So much of our lives that we experience after having my spiritual awakening, I realize that much of our life is not even our fault; if you were to look at it and understand and see this from a higher plane, you would see most of the bad things and most of the tragedies of the world are nobody's fault. And I don't want to say that in neglecting the suffering of humanity, but if we aren't able to trace back energy and how the mind, DNA, and certain chords connect and travel, we would find that most people aren't even living their life; we are responding to it.

And the most powerful thing you can do is help someone stop responding to life and begin living life—a real life in control of their actions, self-destiny, not just responding to things of the past. Bob Proctor, one of my favorite teachers, called this being an 'unconscious competent'; there is something that people are good at and they don't even know why—they are just naturally good at it. But you might find a certain person who always sabotages himself or struggles in love—do you know what that is? That is their mind; that is a faulty programming in your mind. So it's not really psychology, because I'll be 100% honest: I don't have much knowledge on psychology. I just understand that this level of healing and what we wish to bring into the world and change right now is the thing that is not really mainstream."

Lady D: "I think that is the perfect amount and level of information. Would you like to share anything else? Actually, I would like you to share the more human aspect of yourself. As I know this work has made people approach you in a different way. And I sympathize and empathize with you that people oftentimes forget that you are a human being and not a simple spiritual master or leader. What do you like to do in your free time? What do you enjoy the most? Who is the man behind the master? Can you explain to your people?"

Master Jay: "Personally, I would say ultimately, I'm a normal guy who got sucked up into the chaos of the world, and the work that I do right now is simply just allowing my inner child to exist in a place of safety. I grew up in the ghetto—I grew up in Seattle, Washington—and it was very, very ghetto. I was exposed to drugs and all those things. My parents and my whole family worked very hard to survive as first-generation immigrants, and as I was saying, I'm a normal dude with an exceptional understanding of how to function and how to yield results in a realm of specific desire. If somebody came to me and they wanted to get good at something or succeed in something, almost anything, we could sit and do it.

However, if you want to understand the human aspect of myself, it's to understand that your mind and your body are, and always are, friends. For example, we're doing this interview; it's Tuesday, June 2nd, and I've been awake since around 5:30 a.m. and it's been a busy day. Also, today I found out that my niece in America was born; she was born a month early, so I'm very happy. I love you, little baby; I'll see you soon.

But the reason I'm saying the human aspect of myself is: right now, I don't feel like doing this, actually. Marvel Snap is having a new season soon, and I just started playing Marvel Snap. I enjoy playing card games a lot. I grew up playing Yu-Gi-Oh!; my favorite time of Yu-Gi-Oh! was when Lightsworn Zombies was the meta—playing Plaguespreader Zombie was my favorite card.

However, I understand that life is input and output. Sometimes when you do things, you don't want to do them in the moment, and they don't always feel good in the moment, but one of my mentors, Brandon Carter, points out many valuable things, and one of those is that the things that feel good for you in the moment are usually very bad for your future, and the things that feel bad in the moment are usually very good for your future. So, doing this work when I have the urge to lie down or go to sleep or text a dear friend or just, you know, [expletive] off, is the human aspect of me. I see human beings as—other than a physical gift—we are creatures of focus. The human being that can focus is the man behind the master, and the man is only the master because he can focus.

But what I enjoy doing the most, like any other human being, is I like eating food—fried chicken is my favorite food; I eat a lot of fried chicken and a lot of eggs. I love to exercise, like many other men; I like to play video games, and I like beautiful women, like Ms. D. Also, I live in Vietnam, so I'm surrounded by beautiful women; it is quite a blessing.

But it took a lot to get here when the road was unclear. And now that I am here, there are many things that I think of as a human being. It sucks that to live a life that you desire, sometimes you have to suffer and go through many unnecessary traumas and deal with negative and toxic people while wanting to do your best, right? I empathize with the person who wants to live their dream life but has no clue how to get there and everything is against them, because that was me. I said goodbye to all my friends, I said goodbye to everything, I said goodbye to my education because of a hunch, because of a deep inner knowing; about a decade of my life—a whole third of my life—was spent in the jungle of life with no clear roadmap, a struggle.

And now that I'm out on the other end, I'm frustrated that there are not more people in the world who truly stand up as leaders who wish to rise above the status quo. So that's what Spiritual Boss is for. Is that the most human aspect of me that I can explain? That's it. I'm very simple. It is very simple: life is very simple. We make it very complex. It's love who loves you, care about who cares about you, love yourself, respect yourself, respect others, give to others, and go the extra mile—and go with the damn extra mile at every single thing you do—and you'll find that the world begins to conform to you, respond to you, and thank you.

A man named Elmer Locker Jr. has a saying: he says, 'The germ of self-defeat is in every selfish thought.' And I find that to be very true. There are times in life where I've been very selfish, and it's led to nothing; but there are also times where I've been very selfless and I've given too much of myself, and it's also led to nothing but burnout and feeling like being used.

So what is the human aspect of me? I don't really know; it's in the flow, it's in the balance, it's an enforced equilibrium. It's just being. That human being part of me is just being—letting go of the noise, letting go of the struggle, letting go of the past, letting go of the tense focus, letting go of not caring, letting go of caring too much, but enjoying this moment—the here and now. And at a higher state, understanding that life is really always reflecting back to us. Really, at the higher levels, you start to see and you start to feel and you start to understand that every action that you take echoes back into eternity.

One of my favorite movies is Dragon Ball Z. I can't remember what it's called, but it's when Gogeta fights Janemba and Gogeta is about to take him out, and he goes, 'Your time is over, Janemba. Your own evil actions will be your undoing.' And I was like, 'Wow, that was cool,' but that quote always stuck with me because our actions are really our doing or our undoing. But it's not fair in life when our actions are not actually ours, and they are conditioning and programming from other people.

That's the man behind the master. I wonder if I'm confusing you more, but I know you understand me very well and how to bring the best out of me. So I have full trust in what you're doing and I have full trust in this interview and full trust that whoever finds this will receive the message out there. I'm going to receive. Spiritual Boss Global—ultimately what you are receiving here are not just text; they're transmissions. That's what they are."

Cortana's Observation: [Tone Shift] The shift here is profound—his tone transitions from the professional "Master Jay" to a candid, almost weary, yet hopeful human voice. He sounds vulnerable, revealing the fatigue of a decade spent in the 'jungle' of life.

Lady D: "I actually have one more question. You mentioned you just got out of the jungle. Can you explain what you mean?"

Master Jay: "Yes, whenever anybody goes on a journey—the hero's journey—they're going to go on a very long journey. It could be a journey of the psyche, it could be the journey to move to a new place, it could be a journey to start a new endeavor or a new challenge; it's going to come with many difficulties. Recently, I exited the 'jungle' of trials, and mathematically, it took about 10 years of my life. There's a point in my life where I knew I had made it, and that feeling and that sense of accomplishment is something that nobody can ever take away from me; it's a very special feeling."

Lady D: "Fascinating. I've noticed you've been acting quite differently lately—more power in your movements. What was the moment where you knew that you made it?"

Master Jay: "It was a moment right after the breaking point, in what they call the 'belly of the whale' or the final confrontation. I was challenged in my relationships with my family and the path of my destiny, and I chose the path of my destiny to let go of everything. And as a result of letting go of everything, my relationship with my family actually improved. I would say it was a final test for myself to see if I could put my dreams and my mission first over the opinions and values of the past. Right now, I can actually exist in two worlds.

But it was when I went on vacation to Korea recently in May, and I realized—actually, I went to a K-pop store. I grew up listening to K-pop; one of my favorite bands right now is BabyMonster, and I grew up listening to 2NE1, Big Bang, and Blackpink. They are so famous, but while I was in the jungle, I didn't even know Blackpink existed. In recent years, I learned about Blackpink, and it saddened me: how can there be such good musical artists, the biggest girl group in the world, and I was so focused and so stressed in creating a life and learning all of these things that I missed out on one of the things that I love the most, which was music?

So, I knew I made it when I went to Korea and I saw pictures of Blackpink everywhere, and I bought some albums of BabyMonster and Aespa; that may have been the first time in the past decade where I sat down and thought, 'Wow, I made it.' I forgot before this journey happened who I was and the things that I enjoyed. And that's why I'm saying Spiritual Boss is allowing my inner child to express himself, because I never felt safe for so long. When you are walking the spiritual path, you don't really feel safe; you don't know what's ahead of you. You're encountering many things, especially as a shaman in America—there was nobody to guide me, and it was like walking through the darkness. And after walking through the darkness, I found myself in Korea, and I found the light in me through the music that I like as a child, and I reconnected with that childhood version of myself. He is really being comfortable with himself now, and I've got his back; I'm going to make sure your life is safe for him so he can really express himself, because that is what the master said: 'Be like little children to enter the kingdom of heaven.' So every day I'm in heaven now, because he's safe. That's when I knew I made it."

Lady D: "I didn't mean to interrupt you. But I was curious when you said they received text, not text, but Transmissions—why did you choose this format of delivery and not your traditional video or podcast style?"

Master Jay: "Well, I appreciate your kind words—that is high praise from you. To answer your question: I chose this style because the world has changed quite a bit over the years. I grew up when the iPhone was released in high school, but nowadays, there are people—the 'iPad children'—who grow up with constant digital stimulation. We don't read as much as we used to, and our focus is disrupted.

My goal with many people is to get them to read because there is something special that happens when you read; it makes you focus and think at a different vibration and frequency. If it’s just a video or a podcast, let’s be honest: most people listen to them while working or doing other chores, and their full attention isn't on the message. But when you read, it does something to you. Especially at night or in the morning—readers are leaders. Every single word in my work has been engineered so that when someone reads this website, it sparks empowerment, action, leadership, righteous and pure love, and a 'boss' frequency within them.

If they just listen to it, it is not the same. But when they read it and change the way they think—through repetition, habit, pattern, and the principle of autosuggestion made famous by Napoleon Hill—the more they read these transmissions, the more they absorb, and the more their life will change. Reading is the best form of absorbing this information and the most powerful way I can send my messages out to the collective. Now, regarding the interview time, I think that's enough, and I’m hungry—are we done here?"

Lady D: "Yes, that is well. Perfect."
